WILLIE SKINS THE FIELD AT PLEASANT VALLEY

The start of the golfing week was a trip to Pleasant Valley for a change and we had another great turn out.

It’s a good test of golf off the white pots and we only had 2 players shoot under their handicaps.

We were looked after well and got away 30 minutes early and everyone got round in about 4 hours.

Today’s green jacket winner was Willy Brown with 38pts… good to see you back and playing well.

2nd place was John Soo on losing out on countback also with 38pts

3rd place was my good friend and playing partner John Doyle who just arrived back for a month and had a solid 36pts and a near pin.

4th was Brendan McDaid with 34 points narrowly beating Andy Cosway with 33pts.

We had more new faces again so welcome to everyone and glad you enjoyed the day!
