THE CAPTAIN AND HUW TO DESTROY FIELD IN 2 MAN SCRAMBLE

It’s the last Friday of the month and that means the 2 man scramble again. It’s always a popular event and today we took 13 groups to Pattana!

After a few cloudy days it was nice to have the sun back and a bit of a breeze it made for great playing conditions.

Todays winners are always in the hunt in this competition and these two great pals are big supporters of the Links and they were popular winners

So congratulations to The Captain Dave Heyes and Huw Philips with a nett score of 67.5

2nd place went to the late entrants Soren Hansen and Michael Palleson with 68.5

3rd place went to the very in form Tim Strong and his partner Allan Rowland with a nett 69

4th place went to Colm Lawlor and Steve Moxey with a nett 70 had they not double bogied 2 par 3s they would have won today but some great golf played.

5th place and never not in the prizes was the French duo Thierry Petrement and J P Gasser with 70.25…these 2 are so consistent!

The last spot went to the noisy group of Decon and Rana they had a great front 9 but let it slip on the back but still a solid display boys.
