SOREN DOMINATES TREASURE HILL

On Friday the links travelled to Treasure Hill … it was another great turn out with 45 players doing battle.

Its one of them courses you either love or hate but that’s only because it will always bite you somewhere in the round!

There wasn’t a single player who broke their handicap today which didn’t surprise me even our scratch golfers found it tough going.

The green jacket was won today by a great guy and big supporter of the Links so congratulations to Soren Hansen with 36pts

2nd place went to the inform Barry Cunningham with 35pts beating my old pal Chris Barker on a count back also with 35pts.

4th place was myself with 34pts and actually finding a golf swing again!

5th went to the very likeable Frenchmen Roger Emery with 33pts

Beating John Rabbit on a count back also with 33pts.

We nearly paid out the 5000 baht for a hole in 1 today when my playing partner John “chucker” McGee pitched a foot short and it ended up just behind the hole….so unlucky but a great shot and he did make the 2!!!

I would like to thank Dave Heyes and Pat Lavin for all your help your both there to lend a hand on these busy days and i appreciate it a lot 💙⛳️
