SECOND GREEN JACKET FOR JP

Value for money it is hard to beat Greenwood. A good test of golf with plenty of variety topped off with very good greens.

After the heavy rain from the previous day`s scramble at Parichat, the 20 golfers we took to Greenwood were happy to see clear skies. Most pleasing was the contingent of Australians who joined us today. Some old faces just happy to be back after such long absences.

Despite playing off the shorter yellow tees, only 3 golfers managed to break par. John Pierrel became the first multiple green jacket winner in quite a while when he returned the winning score of 39 points. John won earlier in the month at Laem Chabang. Nice to see the `more seasoned golfer` taking on and beating the younger whipper snappers! The second and third place winners both had 38 points with Dave Robinson beating Jon Batty on count back.
