RYAN CARRIES THE DAY

What a fantastic day! We had 12 groups play the 4 man scramble at Silky oak and I think it’s fair to say everyone had a great time and the day was made even more special afterwards when everyone came back to the bar and sang a tribute to Phil

It was a very close competition and some great scores but todays winners with an impressive nett 58.5 was team Barton… well done to Adam,Kev,Ryan & Mike.

Adam is Links through and through and was very close to Phil & Joy so it was great to see him win the day with his dad and friends!

2nd place with a nett 59 went to Tim,Bill,Alan& Trish who are over on holiday and have been amazing to have at the Links so friendly and likeable… great way to finish your trip and I will definitely be coming to visit you in Cairns next June.

3rd place and losing on a countback again with a nett 59 went to the Poms and convict and great friends of mine

Greg,Dave, Keith & Dave these boys are Links faithfuls and never a dull moment when they are around!!

I would like to thank Varanya and all the staff for all your hard work today you were incredible.

Thank you to everyone who played and made today so special I know it meant the world to Phil’s family seeing how loved he is and that his memory lives on.
