NO LONGER THE BRIDESMAID AS VITO COMES GOOD AT EASTERN STAR

As the world remembered Remembrance Day which commemorated the end of World War 1, there was another battle at Eastern Star and it was the golf course which came out as winner with one exception.  Vito Cirelli has been twice runner up in the last 3 events but on Friday at Eastern Star, Vito came good and was the only golfer to break par. Vito was in Group 2 of 15 and in racing parlance, he came out the blocks and led from the front to win by a short head from Lawrence Wakeman.

Although there was good run on the fairways, it was a difficult test for our 58 golfers. The greens were in good condition as was the whole eighteen holes it is fair to say. It was a long day though with our first group reaching the turn before the last group had teed off on the first.
