KELLEHER KILLS IT AT SILKY OAK
34 golfers went to Silky Oak on Friday on what was another glorious day for golf. The Barcelona complex would appear to be still having some issues with caddies and although we did not have to share carts, it was still a matter of queuing up to be allocated with carts and caddies. With this in mind, we would like to thank Lawrie McBride and Stu Kidd in helping out with getting things started.
It was another close run event with 8 players on 36 points and over. The winner was Andy Kelleher who returned 40 points. Andy is certainly one of the most consistent players at The Links and he won his 2nd Green Jacket of the year. Running Andy close was Frank McArdle who was runner up on 39.
A special mention should go to Richard Dobson who stormed back with 23 points which was 19 points better than his front 9.
