Today was a trip to Silky Oak and like St Andrews it was good condition and a good test of golf.

My group was more interested in the skins match than the jacket but my lucky Irish pal managed to succeed in both. Greg Smith may not be able to win a pool match but he won 8 skins and we won’t hear the last of it!

Today’s green jacket winner with 38pts was John Doyle his first for a few years but very well deserved… for a man weighing 65kg he is pound for pound the longest driver in Pattaya!

2nd place went to yesterday’s winner Willy Brown with 37pts

3rd place was J P Gasser with 35pts beating his good friend Thierry Petrement on a countback also with 35pts and the final place went Wayne Langford with 34pts.

Wayne likes to start the day at the Links at 7.30am with a beer or 2 and it’s seems to do him well.

Happy birthday to Steve Pike on you last day have a safe trip home it’s been a pleasure having you and Nuan as always.
