JOHN DITCHES HIS MATES AND WINS AGAIN

Today was a trip to Greenwood and it was another extremely hot day!

We had 7 groups ready to tackle this tough track and we never have big scores around here off the white tees and today was no different.

Todays winner has been in fine form since getting here from Ireland and this is his second green jacket now so time to cut him a couple of shots!

John Heffernan won the day with 37pts narrowly beating the Baukhao strangler Greg Smith who has found some form again with 36pts, 3rd place was Tim Shaw with 35pts,

4th was Ben Hurst with 33pts and in 5th place was my old pal Frankie McCardle…Nice to see him back in the prizes.

We had a few leave today and Bill Bocks it has been a real pleasure having you and your friends from the Philippines and we will see you again early next year. Well done to your friend Tommy Sliman for winning 3 out of the 4 near pins I think that is a Links first!!
