CHUCKER MCGEE BACK IN TOWN AND BACK TO THE WINNERS CIRCLE

The final Wednesday of the year and today we played Pattaya Country Club. It has to be said this is not the best condition it could be in but this time of year with no rain the fairways get burnt up but the greens and bunkers were very good.

We only had one player go under par today and he has just arrived back last week and he is Links through and through…. Always there to lend a hand or give advice. Today’s green jacket winner was John “Chucker” McGee with 37pts.. I’m sure he will be celebrating on Friday at his favourite venue Rolling Live!

2nd place was the pound for pound best driver and best 8 handicaper the world has seen John Doyle with 35pts….he’s been here a couple of weeks now and still has the whitest Irish legs I’ve ever seen.

3rd place losing on a countback to Doyley was another consistent player and great guy Lawrie McBride also with 35pts.

4th place now fully recovered from his illness was Tony Riemann good to see you back in form and only losing on countback as well with 35pts.

Also with 35pts today was Chris Barker playing another solid round I just hope he wins a game of pool this Friday or he will have to take up tennis as his second sport!!
