CHA CHA DANCES ROUND BURAPHA

The Links took 7 groups to Burapha to play courses A & C. Like Monday at Royal Lakeside, our golfers were met with perfect weather conditions with a good breeze cooling things down. All the players liked the layout of both A & C with good run on the fairways. The greens were difficult but did not detract from some excellent scoring.

It was certainly a day 8 handicapper Robert Cha will never forget as he went round in a one under par 71 to score 45 points. Robert finished his round with 3 birdies. All told, 4 golfers recorded scores of 40 and over. Second and third places were decided on a count back with Jimmy Carr just edging out Petur Petursson. Both had 42 points. $0 points would normally be good enough for a Green Jacket but Glen Elsworth had to settle for 4^th place. The final podium place went to Soren Hansen with 39.
