Nick was presented with his first Green Jacket by Phil

Heavy grey skies threatened to spoil the day when the 6 groups arrived at Phoenix Gold to play the Mountain and Ocean courses on Wednesday the 31st. Despite the ominous overhead conditions play went ahead and the first group managed to get around dry. The second 4-ball were on the 18th green when the heavens opened and so the pattern was set for the rest of the day.

The heavy rain was no deterrent for Nick Aubin who was playing his last game before heading back to the UK for a short period. Nick has been one of the most consistent performers in recent months at the Links and his 3 over par 39 points deservedly won him his first Green Jacket.

Runner-up was Young Min Ko with 38 points. Young Min was in the last group so suffered more than most with the wet conditions. The other podium places went to Greg Smith and Dave Arataki.
