A Perfect Day Out At Greenwood

Sixteen golfers made the trip to Greenwood Golf Course today. Each one greeted by the heel clicking, sharp saluting Security Guard as we entered the Pro shop.

Although the course was quite busy, our four groups got away on time from the B1 Tee.

There were others in front of us, but no hold ups for the day. The course was in good condition, the weather perfect, cloudy with a gentle breeze and carts allowed on the fairways.

Our group was made up of four players who got along very well. Plenty of fun and smiles as the caddies, I think, felt relaxed and joined in, just the way it should be. All making for a ( near) perfect day of golf.

Tommy Marshall again led the way to take top position with a perfect 36 points from his handicap of 8. Tommy, of course, will tell you it wasn’t perfect, but there are no pictures, only 36 on the scorecard.

The rags to riches story comes from John Anderson. After having to wear the “Wig” on two occasions recently, he has scored 35 points and held down second place. Funny game, Golf!

Geoff Wallace has been consistent on his ,so far, short visit so a steady 33 points got him third place.

An easy drive back to Pattaya, even though it was Friday afternoon.  On to the sorting of results over a tasty Curry and Rice  for the Players.

There was some waiting time before the presentations, as MC Phil went for his usual after game massage. We thought the massage was so good he fell asleep..

Bryan Barrell and the “Wig” are becoming so used to each other now it fits perfectly.
