A fine day in Pattaya had golfers gathering at Links Bar ready to board our two buses. Others had gone direct to the course in cars, for a final total of 23 starters.

 In the bus enroute some skeptics scanned the skies and predicted rain later.

Happily, they were wrong, and we had a fine, warm day at Bangpakong Riverside.

This course receives many accolades from golfers after a round here, and rightly so. Once again it was displaying wide, nicely groomed fairways, rough not too rough, although one of our players thought it was, and the greens are almost the best around at the moment.

The Locker room is big and roomy with modern décor. Perhaps a few more showers would be a good idea.

We had enough players to run two flights, down 3 places, plus the “Best Nines”.

The second bus arrived, food was served and presentations done.

Derek wore the Green Jacket for the first time, while John Anderson wore the “Wig” again.

     It was hard get Derek to part with the Green Jacket
