It’s the sign of a good, well presented golf course when almost half of the field of twenty four played to handicap or better.
Burapha is never described as an easy track, but these players took advantage of the near perfect course conditions.
None more so than George Mueller who had a pretty successful day out.
Not only did he score a great 42 points to take the win, but had a bonus two ‘near pins’ to add to his haul for the day.
Brendan Kane has been searching for the form that had him down to a #3 handicap when he first came to Links Golf. His handicap has blown out to #9 now, but here he comes. 40 points is a very good score, so he has taken second spot on countback.
Chris Barker is also finding form, at last, and followed his 37 points on Monday with a fine 40 points here to take third place after losing the countback to Brendan.
Robert Cha has now played three times with us and has been in the placings each time.
He finished second with 38 points on Monday and has now scored 38 points again. However, there was some hot scoring ahead of him, but he has grabbed fourth spot after winning a countback.
Billy Buchanan lost that countback to take the final placing, in yet another podium finish for him.
Jim Ferris had the other 38 points but won the consolation ‘best front nine’.

We like coming to Burapha as the staff are always helpful and, right now, the price is right.
We were quoted a holiday price when booking but, on the day, we paid the 1250 bht ‘sports day’ price. That made for many happy punters.
Someone forgot the ‘near pins’ but Burapha came to the rescue, having some ready to lend to us.
The starters gave us the okay to tee off about fifteen minutes early, which saw everyone back at Links for presentations and an early day home. Or wherever!!
