PETUR COMES THROUGH AT PATTAVIA

Nothing but praise for the Pattavia Golf Club from our 35 golfers. Whereas in the last 2 months our golfers have had little to no run on the fairways, today at Pattavia was a complete change with run on the fairways, no golf balls plugging and dry underfoot. The greens were the same as always – difficult but the ball was running true.

                Before a tee shot was hit the starters were giving us an early start with 2 groups even starting on hole 10. When the second of those groups reached the turn and were heading to the first tee, the starter held back groups waiting to tee off to let our players carry on.

                As for the golf, the scores that were returned really did not do the course justice with Petur Petursson winning the Green Jacket with 36 points. Places 2 to 6 were all tied on 34 points with the placing’s being decided on count back scores.
