NEW WINNERS AT THE LINKS SCRAMBLE

Fourteen groups took part in The Links monthly 4 man scramble / ambrose which was held  at Greenwood on Courses A & B on Friday 25^th. There were concerns about the weather as heavy rain greeted the players as they arrived at The Links but their fears would put to rest as they arrived and although it was evident that rain had hit the course through the night, the course was in excellent condition and everyone got round dry.

                Brothers Lee and Neil Smith along with Stefan Czezowski and Lawrence Wakeman were runaway victors of the event playing off a handicap of 11.12. Their net score of 54.88 was 3 strokes ahead of previous winners, Steve Moxey, Darren See, Livio Marrone and Bob Watson whos handicap was 6.12.
