GREG SETS BURAPA ALIGHT
On Monday, retired Australian fireman Greg Smith returned 40 points for a runners-up position at Pattaya Country Club. On Wednesday, Greg went one better both in terms of result and stableford score at Burapha. His 41 points over courses A & B was 3 ahead of his nearest challenger, George Mueller. Nigel Henson took 3rd position with 37 points.
It was a perfect golfing day for our 20 players with a light breeze keeping the temperatures in check. There was still little roll on the fairways but all the players commented on how true the greens were running. There were a good number of visitors present at the course with all 4 of the nine-hole courses in action. Burapha are generally very good in giving us an early tee start and Wednesday was no exception.
