GLEN EASES HOME AT PARICHAT

There were some heavy grey clouds overhead when we arrived at Parichat but at least it was dry. The first group teed of 30 minutes early and got round to the 7th hole before the rain started. It didn’t last long however and the rest of the round was played in sunshine and clear skies.

There was little to no run on the course because of heavy rain the day before but Parichat drains well. The greens have been sanded and despite the rain over the past few days, were running fast.

Glen Elsworth hasn’t been playing much recently but he came right back to form and finished with 38 points. He started slowly but 21 points in the back nine saw him take the Green Jacket by 4 points from Billy Buchanan. Third place went to Wayne Peppernell who returned 31 points.
